Short Term Weight Goal

My short term goal is to loose at least 8lbs by the end of Jan. When I do this I will go get my hair cut and styled (as it realllllyyyy needs it).

I would like to loose 5 lbs by the end of January. A few years ago, I ate better and exercised and lost slowly and most of it has stayed off, so I am not planning on the crash diet or mania exercise, just a consistent climb.

This is wonderful.Yea Connie!!! The best way to get in "shape". What is going to be your reward when you loose 5lbs by the end of the month?

I am actually not weighing myself. At least for the first month. After recovering from my eating disorder as a teen and now being on the other side of the disorder, the scale tends to make me more anxious about my weight loss. BUT I plan to loose at least 8 inches all around by the 23rd of January (James' birthday). My reward will be a pedicure. I have not induldged and loved my feet in months and they are crying!!

The tape measure should be your best friend. I am looking at a year to get all this weight off. Boy a pedicure would be nice, yet if I walked into a salon, they would scream with fright as my feet are so caloused. I am placing all these goal in a spot where I can see them so I can give all my encouragment. We should be getting more people joining our cause soon. How fun!!! The more support the better.

My goal is to loose 5 pounds by the end of the month. I like Vicky's idea, but since I've never had a manicure, I would like to treat myself to that.
